Cairo, Egypt - After thorough studies on balancing fare rates with the current economic situation in Egypt, Uber Egypt has increased its fare prices to suit the new raise in prices, specifically vehicle prices and fuel prices, which saw a recent increase of 35%.

Taking into account the interest of the riders and drivers on the platform, Uber Egypt is still the most affordable ride in town, even with the new fare prices as shown in the table below.

The Uber technology will continue to provide a safe, convenient, and affordable mode of transportation to its riders, and will continue to provide economic opportunities for thousands of drivers.
