“As we celebrate this momentous occasion, the Kingdom is witnessing development and progress in many fields across the country, especially Makkah and the Holy Sites, which have been a key area of focus since the era of our late founder – may Allah rest his soul – and his sons until today. Our leaders are harnessing all capabilities to advance projects seeking to deliver the best services, including the Masar destination, which is being considered a vital project as it offers enormous possibilities in serving Makkah residents and pilgrims,” he said.

He added: “We should be proud of the achievements made under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud and the aspirations of HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman. We appreciate these great efforts to continue building the Kingdom’s legacy and placing it among the ranks of developed countries.”

Umm Alqura for Development and Construction is undertaking the development and growth of the Holy Capital to transform Makkah into a modern landmark and advanced cultural destination through the Masar destination. Masar is a development and investment destination seeking to enhance the quality of life of Makkah residents and pilgrims and facilitate their access to the Haram Al Sharif. It also aims to change their experience for the better in line with the directives of the Kingdom’s leaders to increase the number of pilgrims to 30 million by the year 2030.
