Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (T?KA) equipped the orphanages in Lomé, the capital of Togo, and Sokodé, the country’s second largest city.
As part of the project, T?KA provided bunk beds, mattresses, bed linens, and washing machines to Lomé Orphanage and Sokodé Orphanage, where 100 and 120 children live, respectively.
In his statement, Tchagodomou Safiou, Principal of Lomé Orphanage, thanked the Republic of Turkey and T?KA and noted that the support provided put a smile on the faces of orphans and would help them sleep better.
Mahfouz Mako, President of the Association for Education and Development of Togo, stressed that T?KA implemented a meaningful project for children in need and that this support would further improve the relations between Turkey and Togo.
