Dubai, United Arab Emirates: The Oman Insurance Corporate Challenge 5.0 powered by Rush-A-Way and LivFit is back yet again this year to reignite spirit, engagement and excitement among several renowned corporates in Dubai. This year, the challenge consisting of seven unique, exhilarating, and team-building exercises will be held on 28th September 2019. The inter-company competition aims to bring together 50 corporates for a fun-filled day out all-around Dubai to conquer seven thrilling challenges to win a coveted title and an exciting range of prizes.
With employee engagement and gamification being a popular topic of discussion, this adrenaline-rush filled challenge will test teams of four on their mental and physical fitness, quick thinking skills and teamwork.
Research conducted by Gallup suggests that engaged and happy workers are a key ingredient to a successful corporation. As for 2017, the analytics firm confirms that close to 85% of workers are not engaged or are not psychologically committed to their jobs leading to a decrease in productivity. The State of Global Workplace report suggests that only 16% of employees in the UAE are happily connected to their respective jobs.
In a research conducted by the Fortune500 companies, Teamwork is the second most important value required for steady growth and longer sustainability in this competitive business landscape. With the aim to increase productivity, engagement and gratification, many corporates are participating in these team-building challenges that will stimulate growth in the firm.
Commenting on the changing employment interface, Julien Audrerie, Head of Marketing at Oman Insurance Company claims that “Through our corporate wellness program LivFit we aim to encourage people to stay fit and lead a healthy lifestyle. This event is a great way for us to help people be active in a fun filled way. It is also a great platform for companies to help employees develop stronger team bonds. Through our wellness proposition and health insurance, we will continue our efforts to help people live healthier lives.”
A total of 100 team spots are available and teams are encouraged to book their spot early as team details are not required at the time of registration. Previously companies including Audi, Volkswagen, Emirates NBD, Du, Souq, Virgin, SAP, ENOC, BCG, RAK Bank, HP, Canon, DMCC, Dubizzle, Oman Insurance, Bosch, Naffco and ADNIC have participated in this corporate challenge.
This thrilling and power packed competition has a range of prizes and titles that will be given out at the end of the event. The Best Performing Company Award will be presented to the organization whose top three teams accumulate the most points in the challenge. A coveted title and exciting prizes will be presented to the winners who have scored maximum points at the end of the adrenaline filled challenge. The Excellence Award will be presented to the organization with the most entries recognizing their participation and employee development in the event and LivFit Award for the fastest team at the LivFit Challenge.
Organizations are allowed to send multiple teams of four. The teams need to make sure their cars are fuelled and they have an active 3G/4G connection that will help them to track and proceed to the successive challenges. All these tasks are communicated through the Rushaway app which is specially designed to track locations and scores throughout the competition.
