Abu Dhabi: The Department of Transport’s (DoT) Integrated Transport Center (ITC) in Abu Dhabi won the first place of the People of Determination-Related Initiatives during the tenth Dubai Sustainable Transport Award. The honoring ceremony took place in Dubai under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince and Chairman of the Executive Council.

To that regard, Mr. Mohammed Darwish Al Qamzi, General Manager of Integrated Transport Center, said that because of the integrated strategy that facilitates the mobility of people with determination and offer them with safe and secured transport services, we were rewarded with this award among all the participants from entities, companies and individuals. Specifically, hire cars are provided with the latest technologies designed to serve the determined ones. In addition to offering them with smart discount cards and developing the in-class and online training curriculum to ensure that drivers are trained well according to high standards and are qualified in dealing with the determined ones professionally. 

Al Qamzi added that this is one of the leading awards in the Middle East in the sustainable transport field. The great participation from other entities and individuals motivates innovation and excellence and encourages the cooperation between all entities in the UAE. All these will enhance the integrated network transport in which affects the service performance positively. This comes in line with the wise directions of our leadership and offering the best services for people with determination and working on integrating them in the society.
