Texas A&M University at Qatar recognized its outstanding graduates at a recent Suhoor honoring graduating seniors and master’s students. Each graduate was named Student of the Year by Texas A&M at Qatar’s six academic programs and Graduate Studies. From left to right: Alaa Abdalla, liberal arts; Ahmad Jamal A A Al-Kuwari, mechanical engineering; Abouelkassim Becetti, electrical engineering; Menatollah ElGendy, science; Arshad Ali, chemical engineering; Najla Badar, petroleum engineering; and Maria Christina Bismonte Orillano, chemical engineering graduate student. Abdalla and Ali were also recognized along with AlReem Al-Dosari, Safeer Hafeez and Mohammed Hassan for graduating as Texas A&M University Undergraduate Research Scholars.
