Riyadh: Tamimi Markets announced the official Grand Opening of its newest store in the Diplomatic Quarter of Riyadh. Attending the event was His Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Talal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Ambassador Ludovic Pouille of France, Ambassador Ole E. Moesby of Denmark, DQ Executive Director Noble Franklin Coker, members of the DQ’s diplomatic staff, executives and excited DQ residents. Tamimi ownership and executive management was represented by Tamimi Markets CEO Abdul Aziz Al-Tamimi, General Manager Bobby Rajendran, Tamimi Holding SVP Finance & Investment Fawaz Al-Tamimi and senior Tamimi Markets staff.

The new DQ store is Tamimi Markets’ 42nd store in Riyadh and 81st nationally. Tamimi Markets rapid expansion aims to achieve 150 stores by the end of 2025. “We just replaced our original Safeway USA distribution center last month in Dammam, have a relatively new facility here in Riyadh and plan to open our new state of the art distribution center in the West in early 2022. These supply chain investments support our rapid growth plans for the West, Northern markets, in Riyadh and Eastern Province” Mr. Rajendran commented. “Our customers tell us that we have a superior store and they love our unique items. We just need to be in more places, and our growth plans now reflect that” he added.
