Out of the keenness of QFBA, which was founded by the Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) Authority, to work on the building and development of human capacities in the financial and banking sector in Qatar, the Academy contributes to the realization of the Qatar National Vision 2030, in its pursuit of building a knowledge-based economy. The Academy was founded with the aim of contributing to the development of professional leaders in the business and finance sector, in addition to building a professional system for professional licensing standards in the financial sector, in cooperation with regulatory bodies, the labor market, and experts specializing in the field. The Academy also works in cooperation with international universities and international consulting firms to provide the best training programs for accredited international certificates by international organizations.
The MoU was signed, in pursuit of building capacities, developing human resources and improving the professional standards of human resources in the fields of management, business and finance, in addition to upgrading standards for work performance in the economic and social fields, for the working-age group.
Since the field of innovation and entrepreneurship is a part of the Center's interests, and the business and finance sector is the core of the Academy's affairs, the two parties are willing to partner and cooperate to achieve common objectives, all of which aim at the realization of the Qatar National Vision 2030 and the National Development Strategy, which focus on people as a means and an end for development.
