Organised by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), Diwali is the perfect time to indulge in some well-deserved retail therapy.

Festival Plaza in Jebel Ali is celebrating Diwali by giving shoppers the gift of choice. Visitors can get the Festival City Malls gift card for free when they download the Festival Rewards app. The offer runs until Saturday, 13 November.

Dubai Festival City Mall will get into the Diwali spirit with a host of wonderful offers across the mall and from a carefully curated selection of independent retailers at Ripe By The Bay. This night market will offer a number of special Diwali offers, making it the perfect place to pick up a bargain while taking in the spectacular views over Dubai Creek. The fun doesn't stop there visitors to Dubai Festival City Mall will also get the chance to enter the draw and win a top-of-the-range Honda Accord EX Turbo 2021 when spending AED300 or more. The festivities will continue until Saturday, 13 November.

The Pointe at Palm Jumeirah will be mark the Indian Festival of Lights with a special fountain show synchronized to Bollywood music. Visitors can also enjoy up to 25 per cent off at a number of The Pointe’s restaurants.

The Grand Mela brings visitors a huge range of exhibitors from India, Pakistan and UAE for the best in festive shopping. There will be a massive selection of gifts on offer, from home décor and traditional Indian clothing to arts and crafts, handbags, kidswear and imitation jewellery. There will also be Henna designing and lots of fun for kids (and big kids!) alike. The event takes place from 11am to 9pm on Friday, 29 October.
