Dubai, United Arab Emirates Schon Properties’ Walid Ahmed has been awarded with a prestigious project management award at this year’s runner-up of project manager of the year trophy at a star-studded gala ceremony of Construction Innovation Awards 2017 held at St. Regis Hotel Dubai.   Walid was also applauded by the judging panel for his track record of managing large-scale, multi-faceted projects such as - Dh3.2 million iSuites hospitality development, a 2,550 hotel apartments at a single-site development near Dubai South.-

Engr. Walid Ahmed, Projects Director of Schon Prosperities said: “I am extremely humbled. I didn’t expect to win this award. I’m very gracious and hopefully it reflects well in what we do at Schon. Winning the runner-up award under project manager category is not just for me, I’m only the figure head for many shining people in my team. It’s been a pleasure to work with Schon Properties who provides a platform to excel.”

He added: “some of the most interesting projects I have worked on in my 17 years’ of construction career are “iSuites hotel apartments in Dubai Investment Park and Schon’s hospitality project in Marjan Island, Ras Al Khaima.” “My priorities for the coming year include helping Schon Properties win more projects, incorporating quality and luxury within the budget.
