The largest dedicated HVAC R event in the Kingdom returns with 35% more floor space than last year, and is expected to attract over 7000 visitors to its Riyadh debut.

  • HVAC R Expo Saudi 2019 will run from 28-30 January at the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center (RICEC).
  • The fourth edition of the event will feature more than 85 exhibiting companies and over 28 free and certified training sessions for visitors.

Backed by the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO), GCC Standardization Organization (GSO), and Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE), HVAC R Expo Saudi is ready to open its doors in Riyadh for the first time from 28 to 30 January 2019 at the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center (RICEC).

Now in its fourth edition, and held alongside FM EXPO Saudi and Saudi Clean Expo, the unmissable platform for HVACR industry professionals has previously been held in Jeddah.

“With air conditioning systems currently consuming almost 40% of power generated in the country, there is a lot of focus on energy efficiency in the HVAC R sector,” comments Roni El Haddad, Event Director for HVAC R Expo Saudi. He adds, “This presents a huge opportunity for the industry to develop as growing population increases demand for cooling.”

The exhibition will present hundreds of solutions set to address efficiency ratings in the HVAC R industry, including LG Electronics single package units which result in 30% quicker cooling, VTS Clima Gulf WING Air Curtain which reduces electricity consumption by 40%, HH Shaker and Midea duel-sensing technology that saves up to 58.5% energy, among many others.

El Haddad said: “Forecast to reach a value of up to USD6.36 billion by 2022, the local HVAC R market is energized, making it the best time for professionals to network, conduct business and find new products at HVAC R Expo Saudi 2019.” He adds: “We will not only host over 85 leading industry brands at the expo, but will also offer training sessions where professionals will be able to enhance their skills and get certified.”

Visitors to the event will benefit from free access to over 28 CPD (continuing professional development) certified training sessions sponsored by Samsung – Alessa Advanced Projects Ltd. The agenda will include presentations by SASO, GSO and SCE, as well as Carrier, Hussein & Al Hassan G Shaker Bros, Modern Trading CO. Ltd, and Shaker Group to name but a few.   

Sessions will run across two workshop theatres throughout the event, and will cover topics such as efficient techniques for indoor cooling, dual sensing technology, smart and digital solutions for HVAC and much more.
