Terrapinn Middle East has revealed the first details of the upcoming EduTech Digital Summit.
Organised alongside the Ministry of Education in Saudi Arabia, the event will take place on October 5-6th live from Riyadh.
The show will also welcome speakers and attendees from homes or offices around the world.
“EduTech Digital Summit arrives at a time of unprecedented disruption in the global education industry,” said David Beguely, Managing Director of Terrapinn Middle East.
“The sudden closure of schools and universities across the world due to the recent global pandemic has necessitated the online delivery of education for all ages. And while there have been inevitable teething problems, the entire education community has been collaborating and are hard at work identifying key practices for successful online learning.”

The EduTech Digital Summit is part of an international conferences program, taking place as part of The International Conferences Program, honoring the G20 Saudi presidency year 2020.
The keynote conference will be aligned to key G20 topics and themes, including the Presidency Agenda’s first pillar: Empowering People, by creating the conditions in which all people can live, work and thrive.
The event will also closely align with the G20 taskforce for the ‘Future of Work and Education,’ driving conversations around: equipping students for the future workplace, understanding what industries new skills are required in and providing quality education, with sustained and focused initiatives.
EduTech Digital Summit will be delivered on a digital event platform, providing an immersive live experience including a virtual exhibition, one-to-one video networking and integrated chat features for all participants.
Ministry of Education Saudi Arabia representatives on the conference agenda include Dr. Mohammed AlMoqbel, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for General Education, Dr. Auhood Alfaris, General Supervisor of the General Administration of E-Learning and Distance Education, Dr. Abdulatif Alabdulatif, General Supervisor of the Digital Transformation and Information Security, as well as Eng. Abdullah Altamimi, CEO, Tatweer Educational Technologies (TETCO).
Globally renowned EdTech experts that have been announced as speakers to date include best-selling authors Eric Mazur, Grant Lichtman and Richard Gerver, as well as regional professionals such as Joseph Kotarski, CEO of Aldar Academies, Glen Radojkovich, Principal of GEMS International School and Dr. Najla Alraway Alnaqbi, Educational Technology Expert of the Department of Education and Knowledge.
Some 4,000 are attendees are expected to participate in the event. The organizing committee have made it free to attend for all education professionals, understanding how important it is for the industry to learn and collaborate.
