S P Jain launches management program for the next generation of business owners

Dubai, U.A.E, 17^th May 2016: S P Jain School of Global Management launches in the UAE a cutting-edge management program for the scions of family businesses.

The Global Family Managed Business (Global FMB) program is an innovative 12-month, tri-city postgraduate certificate program designed to equip incumbents of family businesses with the knowledge, skills and attitude required to tackle challenges that are unique to family managed businesses. Global intelligence is a unique outcome of the Global FMB program as participants are given opportunities to live and study at our campuses in Dubai, Mumbai and Singapore, and as a result, develop the skills needed to take their business global.

A traditional MBA is ideal for those aspiring to join the corporate sector. S P Jain's Global FMB program, on the other hand, is uniquely designed to prepare young entrepreneurs in family businesses with modern and global management education so that they can be prepared to take up the unique challenges of family business and also develop an in-depth understanding of family issues to eventually lead the business to new heights.

Family businesses have distinctive business and family challenges that involve issues of ownership and management. Our Global FMB program addresses these issues in an exhaustive fashion.

The program is headed by Prof. Parimal Merchant who has interacted with over 3,000 family businesses and has over 20 years' experience in Management education for family business.
