Dubai – Dwight School Dubai is delighted to announce the appointment of Rebecca Skinner as the Associate Head of Dwight School Dubai, scheduled to open in 2018/2019 academic year.
Rebecca brings to her role more than 20 years of international leadership experience in the education sector including independent schools and non-profit organizations in New York City. Ahead of joining Dwight School Dubai, Rebecca was, for over 14 years, the founder and founding head of school at the International School of Brooklyn, a Nursery-Grade 8 language immersion (French and Spanish) and International Baccalaureate (PYP and MYP) school. Before launching ISB, she worked at The Partnership for After School Education, The Louis Calder Foundation and The Markle Foundation.
Janecke Aarnæs, Head of School commented on Rebecca’s appointment: “We are delighted to welcome Rebecca Skinner to the Dwight family and are confident that she will bring on board a deep understanding of Dwight School ethos as for the past decade she has been working closely with Dwight School New York in her previous role”.
