Cairo, Egypt - RATP Dev, part of the world-leading public transport operator RATP Group today announced that it will participate as a Silver Sponsor in TransMEA 2020 exhibition, being held on November 22-25 in Cairo, under the auspices of H.E. Minister of Transport Kamel El Wazir.

Last September, RATP Dev signed an agreement with The National Authority for Tunnels (NAT - Government Agency under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Transport, and the owner of the Cairo Metro network) for the operation and maintenance for Line 3 of the Cairo Metro for 15 years and the operational commissioning of future extensions of Line 3, which are under construction. 

Thanks to this partnership, RATP Dev and its Egyptian subsidiary RATP Dev Mobility Cairo, have seized the opportunity to play a key role in the optimization of urban transportation in Cairo, a city with huge potential as an African mobility hub. 

Drawing on its worldwide extensive experience as a global mobility leader committed to delivering safe, high performance and passenger-centric public transport solutions and services, RATP Dev will showcase at TransMEA its many engagements towards smart and sustainable cities. The company will particularly focus on its operations in the Middle East (Qatar, Saudi Arabia) and North Africa (Algeria, Morocco).
