Aberdeen, UK: Petrotechnics, the developer of Proscient – the hazardous industries’ first software platform for operational excellence, today announces key appointments in the U.S and Middle East to manage accelerated demand and a growing customer base in both regions.
The company has appointed Bill Lutz as Regional Manager for North America, David Ross as Regional Manager for the Middle East, and Sophie Menard as Partner Solutions Manager in the Middle East.
The appointments follow a year of strong growth for Petrotechnics with the launch of Proscient 4.0, unprecedented recognition of the technology as a digital game-changer, and contracts for ground-breaking digital transformation projects with international operators including BASF and Petronas.
- Lutz previously served in global business development, sales and account management leadership roles for CPFD Software and Bentley Systems.
- Ross has been a member of the Petrotechnics team for six years with progressive responsibilities in sales, professional services and projects with a particular focus in the Middle East and APAC regions.
- Menard has been a member of the Petrotechnics team for nearly five years with responsibilities in product management, partners, and solutions management. She previously served as an SAP consultant with Accenture.
Lutz and Ross will hold responsibility for the company’s sales, business development and customer relationship efforts in their respective regions. Menard’s role will be relocated to the Middle East region to support the demand from clients and partners locally. Leveraging the trios’ deep domain and technology experience, each will be driving forces for Proscient’s adoption as the market-leading operational excellence software platform in North America and the Middle East.
Iain Mackay, COO of Petrotechnics, commented: “As Petrotechnics continues to develop its global growth strategy, these appointments further strengthen the company’s go to market efforts and will be instrumental in building on the momentum we have achieved to date. Exciting opportunities are ahead for Petrotechnics, and I look forward to working with these industry leaders to bring the power of Proscient into the hands of global, asset-intensive operators around the world, keeping more people and assets safe and productive.”
