As part of its continuous efforts to sponsor economic activities and support young entrepreneurs, Noor Capital – a pioneering financial investment company – took part in sponsoring the ‘Role of Entrepreneurship in Development: Challenges and Funding Conference, which was held in Cairo under the title “Intaleq Min Masr” (Start from Egypt). H.E. Dr. Sahar Nasr, Minister of Investment and International Cooperation, chaired the conference, which was attended by numerous ministers, Bank CEOs, financial experts, business people and investors.
The conference discussed government initiatives in supporting entrepreneurs by creating job opportunities and empowering the youth. It also shed light on major investment opportunities in small and medium-sized enterprises. A number of success stories about young investors and entrepreneurs were also featured.
As part of the two-day conference activities, Mr. Abdulla Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of Strategic Planning and Innovation at Noor Capital, and Mr. Mohamed Hashad, Director of Research, Development and Training at Noor Capital and member of the American Association of Professional Technical Analysts, explored investment solutions and alternatives for asset management, as well as the best investment plans sponsored and offered by Noor Capital. They also discussed the role of Noor Capital in providing direct investment services, through tailored solutions for asset management, including simple custodian services and unique investment products, whether issued directly by Noor Capital or analysed and recommended by the company.

Noor Capital also organised a panel entitled “Intermediary Firm Selection and Evaluation Criteria” during the conference, with a view to protecting investors and financial market traders by raising their awareness on trading activities and promoting a financial and economic culture. Many participants attended the panel and took part in the discussion.
