Doha, Qatar: Nasser Bin Khaled Automobiles, the Authorized General Distributor of Mercedes-Benz in Qatar, is the spotlight of the eighth edition of Qatar Motor Show 2018 (QMS) with largest and luxurious pavilion and launching of three top new cars.
Following many years of participation at one of the most important automotive shows in the Gulf, Nasser Bin Khaled Automobiles are set to showcase a wide range of cars from the new collection of Mercedes- Benz, and display various models that promise to capture the heart and mind of guests.
Welcoming visitors to the show’s largest pavilion, NBK Automobiles’ luxurious exhibition space is displaying three new Mercedes CLS AMG, Mercedes-Benz GLE and Mercedes-Maybach S-Class. NBK Automobiles will also present a range of cars that will appeal to all styles and choices, including the SUVs, sporty cars and the luxury sedan cars.
Taking place from 17 to 21 October at Doha Exhibition and Convention Center, Qatar Motor Show is the most important motoring event in the Middle East for car lovers and trade professionals. The exhibition has become a regular date in the calendar and offers one of the best informative platforms about car manufacturing.

At NBK Automobiles pavilion, customers can have a close look on the latest editions of Mercedes-Benz sedans and SUVs including: A-Class, C-Class, E-class, S-class, CLA and G-class
Nasser Bin Khaled Automobiles also revealed three new cars: Mercedes CLS AMG and Mercedes-Benz GLE for the first time in the region, and Mercedes-Maybach S-Class for the first time in Qatar.
Mercedes CLS AMG:
The new generation of the CLS sets the bar higher by matching the model’s distinctive shape and captivating appeal with enhanced comfort and technology features. With its introduction in 2004, the CLS introduced the four-door coupé segment with an iconic shape that reshaped cars for a new era. The CLS broke new ground by fusing the elegance and dynamism of a coupé with the comfort and functionality of a sedan. The third generation seamlessly connects every unique element of the CLS and elevates it by setting new standards in design, safety and technology.
The new CLS reasserts its credentials as a design icon as it becomes the first Mercedes-Benz model to fully embrace the design philosophy of sensual purity. The result: a timeless fusion of emotion, elegant beauty and exquisite comfort. The side design is characterized by the high, arching waistline and sporty frameless side windows. The sharpened front end is reminiscent of a shark's nose and appears longer thanks to the fully inset bonnet. The contours again follow the design philosophy of sensual purity: lines and edges are greatly reduced, and the surfaces are generously arched.
Mercedes-Benz GLE:
The premium SUV from Mercedes-Benz is distinguished with its dynamism and assertiveness. It encapsulates a distinctive view of the world. Its confident stature, refined lines with high beltline and powerfully styled wheel arches are designed to appeal to leaders rather than followers. Inspired by those who embark on a new journey every day.
Imposing proportions and forceful, confident styling make the GLE a striking addition to the Mercedes-Benz lineup. The GLE features striking proportions and dramatic body style, ensuring the imposing nature of the GLE lives on. The front section is particularly eye-catching with its dramatic air intakes, twin-louvre grille, and wraparound full LED headlamps. Power domes on the bonnet further emphasizes the car’s dynamic, purposeful character.
Mercedes-Maybach S-Class:
Prestigious, exclusive, unique and handcrafted. The perfection of the S-Class, blended with the exclusivity of the Maybach, makes the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class the luxurious and technological spearhead of Mercedes-Benz. Some features which distinguish these vehicles, include extra spaciousness and lavishly designed prestigious interiors which offer extensive scope for individualization.
The two-tone exterior paint finish is also a classic Mercedes-Maybach theme. In future there will be nine different color combinations available on request. The double clear coat is available as a further new option for all dark colors. It creates a brilliant surface finish with a piano lacquer effect and a special impression of depth. The second bodywork clear coat, including intermediate sanding, is intricately applied by hand in the Maybach Manufaktur by specially trained varnishers.
