Deutsche Bank's 3rd annual regional healthcare conference connects investors with senior corporate management teams across the healthcare sector

dbAccess MENA Healthcare, Deutsche Bank's flagship Middle East and North Africa ("MENA") conference and the region's only healthcare sector investor forum, opens today in Dubai. The two-day (18-19th November) annual conference will explore pressing macro issues affecting companies operating in the healthcare sector around the MENA region and beyond.

More than 40 conference delegates will hear leading players from the sector present on a range of topics including the outlook for regional healthcare; and how local healthcare providers can help meet the region's increasing demand for quality medical services.  The event will offer investors access to senior management for most of MENA's listed Healthcare space, as well as a number of private companies, and site visits to some of the region's fastest growing healthcare assets in the UAE.

Deutsche Bank's Head of Equities for MENA, Ahmed Beydoun, said: "Despite current headwinds facing emerging markets, the global economy continues to look to the region as a bellwether for growth. That we have chosen to host our conference for the third year in a row in Dubai reflects the city's rising status as a leading financial centre. As the region continues to grow, we expect Dubai to continue playing an important role in enabling MENA corporations' access to international capital markets."

Michael Majdalany, Head of Global Markets Equity Sales for the MENA region at Deutsche Bank, added: "Healthcare remains a compelling sector for investors, with consolidation generating the most recent excitement for our institutional investors.  It's great to see this event grow into its third year despite what has been a more challenging macro backdrop"

This year's keynote speakers include Dr. Layla Al Marzouqi, Director of Health Regulation Department at the Dubai Healthcare Authority, Dr. Sven Rohte, Chief Commercial Officer from Daman Health and Mansoor Ahmed, Director, MENA Healthcare at Colliers International.

The two-day conference brings together more than 40 institutional investors and 8 companies from across the MENA region.

dbAccess MENA Healthcare is part of Deutsche Bank's global series of major Corporate Access conferences and corporate days held under the dbAccess umbrella brand.
