New courses, including BA Honours Graphic Design, LLM and MSc International Tourism Management give potential students more choice
Dubai, UAE - This year, Middlesex University Dubai will strive to make their student’s academic goals and ambitions their priority. With admissions for September 2017 now open, prospective students have the opportunity to plan and take the next steps to realise their academic ambitions.
Since opening their Dubai campus in 2005 Middlesex University Dubai has made it their focus to understand the challenges facing today’s graduates. In turn, the University has developed courses to ensure students have the skills necessary to meet the needs of employers in today’s competitive job market.
Prospective students, looking to start studying in September 2017, can enrol in a number of courses across a wide range of disciplines, Business, Law, Psychology, Graphic Design, Marketing, HR, Computer Engineering, Education, Accounting and Finance and more…
In addition to the existing course offering, Middlesex University has introduced a range of undergraduate and post graduate courses in responce to the dynamic needs and interests of the region’s students. These include; LLB with International Relations, BA Honours Graphic Design; BA (Hons) Business Management (Innovation) and BA (Hons) Business Management (Project Management); LLM International Law and LLM International Business Law, MSc International Tourism Management, MSc Corporate and Marketing Communications BA Honours Graphic Design, MA People Management and Development and The MBA with new pathways in Islamic Economy, Business Analytics, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility .
“At Middlesex University Dubai, we take the steps needed to review and update our courses to ensure they the needs of fast-changing job market,” said Dr. Cedwyn Fernandes, Director Middlesex University Dubai. “In 2017, we launched the School of Art and Design in response to the growing demand for graphic design talent in the region. Our new LLB and LLM programmes have been introduced to meet the demand from the legal sector for more opportunities to further their knowledge of the challenges facing the regional and international legal sectors. These are just a few examples of the great programmes we have starting in September 2017.”
In addition to its diverse course selection, Middlesex University Dubai has a range of initiatives and programmes, to give their students the support they need to settle into university life in the United Arab Emirates.
“The University has a range of sporting and cultural clubs which give students the opportunity to socialise with one another in a fun environment, away from the classroom,” explained Dr. Fernandes. “For international and domestic students living away from home, we have modern student accommodation available to help students make a seamless transition to university life. Our services, including our Student Bus, aim to take the pressure of moving and living in the region off our students, allowing them to focus on their studies,”
