Dubai: 'Fitness is fun' – that’s the message being promoted by UAE’s popular dairy and juice brand, Lacnor with the launch of its ‘Lacnor Kids Fit Squad’; the brand's latest initiative aimed at promoting healthy eating and an active lifestyle, especially amongst children and young people.

In collaboration with Dubai Sports Council, this unique initiative will host fun healthy activities across all major schools in the UAE. “Lacnor Kids Fit Squad” has already partnered with 10 schools successfully and plans to organize the health initiative with another 60 schools by the end of 2019.

Conducted under the presence of teachers and coaches, each event was delivered with fun sessions touching upon important elements of being healthy. Sessions included smoothie making with teen fitness enthusiast Bella, happy fruit tree planting with Emirates Bio, dance fitness sessions and more, all designed to improve children’s general fitness through engaging with fun-filled activities.

Commenting on Lacnor Kids Fit Squad, Sharif Ramadan, Head of Brands, said: “Devised with young people in mind, each ‘Lacnor Kids Fit Squad’ session lasts approximately one hour and will emphasize the fun that children can get by exercising with their friends and family. This is the first-of-its-kind initiative emerging from the heart of Lacnor, and we hope more schools come on board for this health initiative.”

Lacnor Kids Fit Squad is part of Lacnor’s 40-year anniversary celebration and pledges to reach to as many students as possible promoting the brand motto: Nurture by Nature.
