KONE Corporation - Fueled with a desire to improve the flow of urban life, KONE Corporation, a global leader in the elevator and escalator industry is opening its first ‘People Flow Experience Center' in the region. Located in its regional head office in Dubai, the center will showcase KONE’s Advanced People Flow Solutions and allow visitors to experience first-hand its comprehensive range of flexible solutions.
The term ‘People Flow’ is defined as the way how people move in and between buildings. A good people flow means people moving smoothly, safely, comfortably, and without waiting. The people flow experience of a building begins at the arrival point, from there the journey continues to the lobby and then to the final destination through multiple doors, spaces and halls.
The ‘People Flow Experience Center' brings KONE’s latest smart solutions within the reach of future and existing customers. Using KONE’s People Flow Simulator Software, multiple simulation of horizontal and vertical flow can be performed.
To further enhance the real-life experience of KONE’s ‘People Flow’ solutions, KONE experts use data gathered during the design request. For elevator and escalator modernization, KONE’s Elevator Performance Analyzers will collect real data from the buildings to enhance the simulation experience.
In a statement on the launch, KONE Middle East & Africa’s People Flow Expert, Jan Bosman, said: “The People Flow Experience Center is an excellent tool that can give customers an exact idea on the integration and operation of our solutions in their respective buildings, which will optimize the services’ choice. By having an expert center providing real-life simulations, we can better cater to customers changing needs and better echo their movement patterns.”
With its access and destination control, information communication and equipment monitoring; KONE’s solutions ensure smooth People Flow, increase safety, comfort and convenience.
The People Flow Experience Center serves as a valuable planning tool for new and existing buildings and shows the exciting solutions KONE is offering beyond the classic elevator and escalators portfolio.
