Kingdom Education Innovation 2016 gathered the leading experts and innovators from the education industry to focus on innovation, challenges and strategies for the sector.

Kingdom Education Innovation 2016 commenced today at Novotel Riyadh Al Anoud, Riyadh - KSA. The conference, rotating around the central theme of "Collaborate - Innovate - Educate", gathered the region's leading education innovators. The conference has been supported by Tatweer Company for Educational Services (t4edu).

After inaugural remarks from the event chairman - Reem Al-Bakry, Deputy General Manager / Marketing at Saudi Xerox, the conference started off with a keynote on "Roadmap for Education 2030" by Dr. Faryal Khan, Programme Specialist for Education at UNESCO. This was followed by an intriguing presentation on "A Set of e-solutions for k-12 education" by Dr Mohammad Al-Zaghaibi, CEO at Tatweer Company for Educational Services.

The highlights for the day included a regulatory panel discussion on Reforming Education in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This was joined by panelists from the Ministry of Education and UNESCO.
Abduwahab Al - Shaikh, Regional Manager at Saudi Xerox Agencies Company shared insights on the topic "The Bridge for Blended learning and Digital Education". He discussed smart campus for Gen-Z, Blended Learning and Content Management among other topics in the presentation.

"The Campus of Tomorrow: Re-imagining Learning" was elaborated by Chris Marjara, Chief Marketing Officer at McGraw-Hill Education International and Professional in his presentation. "Students thrive on instant and continual feedback. By using technology to deliver personalized and adaptive feedback in real time, we can already see a direct impact on learning outcomes.", said Marjara in an exclusive pre-event interview.

The first day of the event witnessed many more engaging presentations by representatives from University of Dammam, Prince Sattam Bin Abdulaziz University, Saudi Health Information Systems, Prince Sultan University, Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University and King Saud University.

Tomorrow, the second day of the conference will start off with a presentation on "Navigating the education ecosystem-a national perspective" by Mohammed Husamaddin, Director of Knowledge Asset Management Division at Naseej. "The global education ecosystem is in a state of strategic renaissance to coop with the socioeconomic challenges of today's World. Saudi Arabian education is taking lead to address further challenges of location and resources availability. University students are becoming on involved. Students in remote areas are able to get equal education resources to those in larger cities. Furthermore, the country overall culture is becoming more sensitive to education quality and credibility.", said Naseej in a pre-event interview.

Ahmed Youssef, Gulf and Levant Account Manager, at Elsevier will elaborate Research Metrics: The way ahead in his presentation.

Other sessions for the day include intriguing presentations, real-life case studies and interactive panel discussions by senior experts from Alfaisal University, Princess Nourah Bint Abdul Rahman University, Umm Al-Qura University, King Abdulaziz University, Taibah University, King Abdul-Aziz University Hospital, Qatar University and King Abdulaziz University among others .

The highlights of the day will include a panel discussion on Optimizing learning with Modern Adaptive Technology. The panel will be joined by Dr Jarallah Alghamdi, Dean, College of Computer and Information Science, Prince Sultan University; Gavin Breslin, Director of Corporate Relations & Career Development, IE Business School - Dubai Center and Dr Athanasios Blintzios, Managing Director Middle East, Eastern Europe and Africa, Mc Graw Hill Education.Elaborating the benefits of McGraw-Hill Education's adaptive learning technology, Blintzios said "McGraw-Hill Education's adaptive learning technology provides actionable, real-time feedback, and does so in a way that's incredibly personalized.
