Manama: Continuing its pursuit of providing innovative digital services to its clients in-line with its new strategic objectives, and to facilitate client’s banking experience in light of the current exceptional circumstances and precautionary measures, Khaleeji Commercial Bank, one of the leading Islamic banks in the Kingdom of Bahrain, has announced the launch of a new version of the “Khaleeji Mobile App”. This new version offers an integrated range of banking services and financial solutions, as the new application provides clients with an innovative and safer banking experience by digitizing many banking transactions that previously required visiting the branch or contacting KHCB’s Call Center.
The new Application delivers many services to existing clients that consist of opening various banking accounts, full management of Debit and Credit Cards, interbank transfers inside and outside Bahrain, bill payments, and Open Banking Services that include “KHALEEJI 360” which enables clients to link their accounts with different banks and review aggregated information about their financial operations. This new Application also supports Fingerprint Scanning and Facial Recognition to ensure the highest level of protection.
Commenting on the new Mobile Application, KHCB’s AGM of Digital Banking Mr. Mazen Salman Sater stated: “We were keen to launch this Mobile Application during the current precautionary measures that led to unprecedented demand for digital applications as one of the main solutions to getting access to seamless banking services. The new Application meets the fast-paced change in clients’ needs and technological developments we are witnessing today in light of the increased demand for financial technology.”
Mr. Sater added: “We are committed to making access to our banking services very seamless, and this highly advanced Mobile Application was launched to address clients’ needs in a comfortable and secure manner. Our new Application will offer integrated solutions to our clients by providing all digital services and an innovative set of new features, including opening accounts with easy navigation, monitoring and managing Debit and Credit Cards, payment and purchase control by country and vendor, bill payment, and lost card suspension. Moreover, we are currently working on developing more features and services to be added to this Application in the near future.”
