About Paul Klinkhamer
Paul has over 19 years of cross industry experience in all areas of company leadership including strategy, growth scenarios, turnaround, risk management and mergers and acquisitions in the Middle East, Europe and Asia. Paul was most recently the Managing Director of Huron Middle East and prior to this he was the Risk Management Lead at Accenture Middle East and Partner at an European investment firm responsible for Asia.

He has been involved as an executive in international private equity firms, consultancy firms, contracting companies, investment banking and underperforming assets. Paul's expertise spans finance, profit and loss management, operations, business development, contract negotiations and strategic planning.

Paul has delivered over 25 projects in several sectors in the GCC, Europe and Asia. Examples of his work include finance transformation for one of the biggest Islamic Banks in the GCC, the restructuring of financial services firm in Europa (2nd player Globally) with > 280 employees from heavy loss making into a profitable subsidiary in the group, set up a joint venture between a Russian and European firm together with the market entry strategy and roll out in Japan and Thailand, the valuation of a leading F&B chain in the GCC, designed the growth strategy for 12 countries for an international education institution and designed and implemented a new credit risk management framework for a leading retail bank in Europe.
