• EuroStar to continue to add new MG cars to fleet through the year, in response to 100% booking of all MG models offered to customers
  • New rental campaign from EuroStar enables customers renting a car within the same category as the MG 5 to experience driving an MG 5 for just an additional AED 99 per month on their previous leasing contract.

Dubai, UAE: Inter Emirates Motors (IEM), official distributor of MG cars in the United Arab Emirates and subsidiary of Ali & Sons Holding LLC, has supplied more than 100 MG cars to EuroStar Rent a Car, a leading car rental company in the UAE with presence in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah. EuroStar delivers innovative mobility solutions tailored to the needs of customers, and the diverse range of MG vehicles has been the latest addition to their 2,000+ units strong fleet. EuroStar Rent a Car is on track to add more MG models to its UAE fleet in 2021, and, with the first batch delivered, has already seen a 100 per cent booking rate on all MG models within their portfolio.

Amr Fawzy, General Manager, EuroStar Rent a Car, said: “MG has proved that their cars are as iconic as ever with their practicality, affordability, and style. The MG cars are indeed a great addition to the automotive industry in the UAE. The range of MG cars added to the EuroStar fleet were well-received and have increasingly become popular among our customers. Customers described MG cars as practical and very comfortable to drive, and that they get great value for their money in terms of efficiency and features, especially critical to businesses and their mobile workforce.”

EuroStar is also rolling-out an MG offer on the back of the strong consumer demand for the British-born marque. This rental offer enables consumers to upgrade their vehicles to an MG 5 for a minimal price difference of only AED 99 per month. This offer will be particularly appealing to customers renting compact and economy models of sedans, bringing them well-appointed MG models, rich with features often absent in the category.

Hisham Elsahn, General Manager, IEM, said: “We are very proud of our partnership with EuroStar Rent a Car, a pioneer in the car rental industry. Rental customers are often the most selective of brands and options, and we are honored by the reception that our MG models are getting. Our cars are feature-rich, efficient vehicles to complement every lifestyle. The EuroStar experience with MG is a great example of the positive impact to lives and business that our strong legacy and innovation can bring, and we look forward to enriching lives and fleets with more class-leading models from the MG marque.”

Since its official return to the Middle East in 2015, MG has successfully broken into a number of major categories, and has emerged among the top 10 car manufacturers across the GCC region. Earlier this year, MG selected IEM as the official distributor in the UAE, with strong retail and service presence in major cities across the nation. MG models have been recently featured in the Middle East Car of the Year line-ups, and are available with attractive pricing, support and warranties.
