Dubai: HorizonFCB the creative arm of Horizon Holdings, a leading communications group, has launched a motivational, engaging social media campaign that comprises a series of short videos hosted and shareable on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and more. Featuring short clips of everyday life while people stay safely at home, the campaign is designed to shift attitudes from focusing on limitations and missing-out to appreciating steps towards safety and the greater good.
Reham Mufleh, General Manager, Horizon FCB, said: “With the entire population of countries staying safe at home, there is naturally a significant spike in time spent on social media. Our campaign to celebrate ‘Staying Home and Staying Safe’, entirely developed and executed by our team working remotely, is our contribution to the entertainment and wellbeing of individuals, families, and the community at large, as we navigate these difficult times together.”
The campaign centers on all the at-home activities that have been postponed due to pressures of work, studies, and outdoor activity – until now. With the population encouraged to stay safely home, now could be the time to hang up those paintings, play with the kids, or spruce up the garden. Each video is no more than 10-15 seconds long, and includes hashtags for people to post their own videos as part of this campaign.
“Communication from and between individuals, teams, and organisations has never been more important than at this time. Even as Governments and health authorities take the lead in creating a safe environment, each individual can play their part by staying home and staying safe. We see the need for a shift in how people are thinking of their situation – for instance, you’re not stuck at home, you’re safe at home. At the Horizon group, we are proud to bring this campaign to everyone, and help spread a message of positivity and togetherness”, said Mazen Jawad, President, Horizon Holdings.
Video content from this campaign can be found on leading social media platforms by searching for hashtags such as #HomeIsFun, and #HomeIsSafe.
