Doha, Qatar: HEC Paris, one of the world’s leading providers of executive education, is delivering ‘Facing the Fintech Disruption Challenge’ Executive Short Program to be held on 17 and 18 of February 2019 at its Doha Campus.
The first program, ‘Facing the Fintech Disruption Challenge’, with HEC Paris MBA Professor Co-Pierre Georg, is designed to enable business professionals to explore the technological innovations and opportunities the industry faces. The course will use several case studies of successful fintechs and outline how they challenge industry incumbents. At the same time, participants will get a thorough understanding of the foundations and principles that enabled the rise of companies using the new opportunities.
Talking about the significance of this program, Professor Georg, said: “This program will provide the participants with the tools to realize how regulation and technological change enable fintech companies to disrupt the financial services industry. It will help them understand the underlying technology behind the blockchain revolution and equip them in developing the tools necessary to assess how to react to the fintech challenge. By virtue of this program, professionals will be in a better position to evaluate how fintech will shape the economy of the future”.
