United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi: Grandiose, the contemporary neighborhood supermarket chain, has opened a new store on Al Reem Island, in the UAE Capital, Abu Dhabi. Part of the group’s firm expansion plans for the region and its commitment to support communities through the current crisis, the new Grandiose store has showcased efforts toward health, care and sustainability.
The eco-friendly supermarket’s launch coincides with the beginning of the Holy Month of Ramadan. In line with the spirit of giving and caring, Grandiose has launched two Ramadan offers: the care package - including essential grocery items that are commonly consumed during Iftar, and Iftar meals - delicious wholesome ready-to-eat meals priced at AED 10. Customers are encouraged to purchase meals for those in need across the country that may have been affected by the pandemic.
Speaking on the launch, Olivier Latour, CEO of Grandiose supermarkets, said, “We are proud to service the Al Reem community in these pressing times, and encourage all residents in the Emirates to take advantage of our Ramadan care package and Iftar meals to support those less fortunate than themselves.”
To support the ongoing global #StayHome advice, Grandiose has strengthened its delivery offering and introduced special offers across all its stores. Stock levels are constantly monitored and adjusted to adequately meet customer needs, providing them with even greater value and convenience.

With extended working hours and assuring same-day delivery, we aim to ease customers’ shopping experiences, allowing them to truly embrace the spirit of Ramadan and share great moments with their loved ones at home.”
The Ramadan packages are available at all stores now or via online orders at https://grandiose.net/. For home delivery, orders can be placed via phone calls or WhatsApp chat on store number directly. Customers can also use the community’s grocery delivery apps such as el Grocer and Instashop to receive orders directly to their doorstep.
Grandiose supermarkets currently operate from Dubai Marina, Jumeirah, Silicon Oasis, Barsha, Dubai Mall, RAK Grove and Address Downtown, with several others scheduled to open in the UAE.
