GoDaddy Inc., (NYSE: GDDY) the company that empowers everyday entrepreneurs, celebrates the closing of its media educational workshop titled “Outlook on Digital Transformation in Egypt". Held on July 13th, the workshop was delivered in cooperation with DCode Economic & Financial Consulting to highlight the future of digitalization in Egypt. It was concluded by announcing a writing competition for the media participants, and 3 journalists were announced to win the competition during the closing ceremony.
After a fierce competition between several distinguished press writings from the workshop’s competition participants; Nayera Eid from TechKnowledge, Ahmed El Baramawy from FollowICT and Marina Gamil from Mubasher acquired the top 3 positions, respectively. Their articles enjoyed unique angles, new information and relevant statistics sources, in addition to proficiently employed multimedia.
The winners were chosen by a judging panel consisting of Selina Bieber, Regional Director for GoDaddy in the MENA region, Mr. Khaled ElBaramawy, Digital Journalism Instructor at AUC, and Nermine Seif El Yazal, General Manager of Mount PR who thankfully assessed the provided pieces.

Worth mentioning that GoDaddy’s workshop was attended by seasoned journalists from various media outlets, enhancing their perceptions on the future of digitalization and how it is transforming industries in Egypt. The comprehensive workshop encompassed two sessions presented by Mohamed Abdel Aziz Youssef, Chairman and CEO, DCode Economic & Financial Consulting along with Ms. Selina Bieber. Building on their hands-on experience, they covered an array of topics, from GoDaddy’s services and mission, to Macro and Micro Goals of Digitalization. Mr. Youssef also pinpointed the Key economic updates in the technology sector in Egypt, including e-commerce trends, pandemic’s impact on digitalization and small businesses, in addition to government policies.
