Riyadh: The Kingdom’s only facilities management and cleaning event is set to open its doors from 11–13 February at the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center. Now in its 4th edition, FM EXPO Saudi and Saudi Clean Expo will showcase the latest products and solutions for building operation and maintenance, including a huge turnout of technologies expected to shape the way Saudi’s mega-projects are run.
Hosting over 30 market leading brands, FM EXPO Saudi and Saudi Clean Expo are free to attend and present an unmissable opportunity for building stakeholders to explore different approaches in facility management, and to discuss applications of the each for one of the biggest projects markets in the GCC.
Ziad Lamaa, General Manager at exhibiting company eSoltutions Saudia commented: “The future of facility management in the kingdom is technology enabled, and must be this way in order to support the biggest development projects like NEOM, the Red Sea Project, and Amaala resort.
“With IoT, Big Data, Asset Management Systems, Workplace Management Systems, and connectivity platforms, the technology ecosystem will play a vital role in providing solutions during all phases of the Facility and Asset Lifecycle Management, starting from the plan and design passing by the building phase, and ending with the Operation & Maintenance phase.”
Together making up a third of the total participating brands at FM EXPO Saudi and Saudi Clean Expo, eSolutions Saudia will exhibit alongside fellow technology providers, Infor, FSI, Sierra ODC, Fame Facilities, BITS, MBUZZ, Innomaint, and Technopurple. Aside from technology providers, the event will also host cleaning equipment suppliers, manpower solutions, total facilities management brands and much more.
More than just an exhibition, the events will also feature an agenda of free workshops covering an entire variety of industry related trends and techniques, as well as multiple technology focused sessions such as ‘The Power of Real-Time Facility Management’, ‘Application of Social Media for Participatory Facilities Management’, and ‘CAFM Implementation; Beat the Challenge’.
Set to present the latter, Eng. Muhannad Sraihiny, Director & Project Manager, CAFM/CMMS Consultant at Binary Integrated Technology Solutions (BITS) concluded: “Every market has its own special parameters, requirements and status, thus, international standards cannot be a perfect fit everywhere. With that said, it is our duty to explain the differences and focus on the local requirements and to boost future market growth, and the learning opportunities at FM EXPO are an excellent way to do just that.”
With 20 sessions in total to choose from, visiting professionals will be able to benefit from CPD (continuing professional development) certification points through the free workshops, whilst getting to know the latest facilities management trends and techniques.
Organised by dmg events LLC, FM EXPO Saudi is sponsored by Al-Hajry Overseas (Titanium Sponsor), Infor (Lanyard Sponsor), Enova by Veolia (Headline Workshop Sponsor) and Tamimi Group (Registration Sponsor), and is proudly supported by Riyadh Chamber. The event is co-located with HVAC R Expo Saudi and Stone & Surface Saudi. The events are held from 11 – 13 February 2020 at the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center.
