Sharjah: For the second time this year, Expo Centre Sharjah is set to roll out jaw-dropping bargain deals on fashion products and accessories.
Set to be held from June 2 to 6, the Big Shopper Sale promises to be the country’s finest fashion event and offers residents and visitors an opportunity to grab this season’s trendiest looks to make a statement on a budget.
With retail sales witnessing a rebound in the UAE, the Big Shopper Sale will see the participation of all major global brands, homegrown labels as well as regional players who will be offering the best deals on lifestyle, beauty and fashion products to woo shoppers.
“The first mega sale held in Sharjah and Northern Emirates this year was the Consumer Electronics Fashion - Big Shopper Sale in January. The response was excellent and the trend continued in events like Ahlan Ramadan and Ramadan Nights, underscoring the demand for apparel and fashion products that account for the largest share of retail sales in the country. The Big Shopper Sale will be one of the biggest fashion events of the year that should not be missed,” said H.E. Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO, Expo Centre Sharjah.
Shopping festivals and mega sales event are key for retailers to tap into the rising demand for value and mid-range products, and with the rise in consumer spending in the country following a contraction last year, the Big Shopper Sale will see participants offering incredible deals.
“With a wide range of products on sale at discounts of up to 70% and more, the Big Shopper Sale offers a chance to grab this season’s fashion essentials at cut-price deals. Besides, considering consumer feedback demanding extension of timings, the event will be open for public from 11 am up to 11 pm at hall number one in Expo Centre Sharjah, which will allow visitors to arrive and shop at their convenience,” said Mr. Jacob Varghese, General Manager, Liz Exhibition, event partner.
The branded toy market in the region is growing at a great pace and there is renewed focus on educational products and smart toys, which will have an impressive presence at the event. “We had a fantastic response at the just-concluded Ramadan Nights exhibition and are geared up with better offers for the upcoming Big Shopper Sale with our expansive range of Crayola, Vtech Toys and Smart Accessory,”’ said Mr. Amar Nath, Managing Director, Play Smart Toys, which will be taking part in the event.
At the Big Shopper Sale, residents can expect scores of their favourite brands and retailers such as Aldo, Al Mandoos, Aldo Accessory, Call it Springs, LC Waikiki, Hush Puppies, Toms, Brand Bazaar, Gant, Lasenza, Lacoste, Fila, Belissimmo Perfumes, Crayola, VTECH and more. The exhibit profile includes all types of clothing, smart toys, footwear, handbags, cosmetics and accessories.
Organised by Liz Exhibitions and hosted by Expo Centre Sharjah, the five-day Big Shopper Sale will be open from 11 am to 11 pm and have an entry fee of Dhs 5 that includes free parking.
