With the growth of its regional operations, Facebook announced today the appointment of Mark Hamilton as Head of Marketing Communications for the Central Eastern Europe Middle East Africa (CEEMEA) region. Mark will be responsible for leading Facebook's B2B marketing efforts by working with leading brands to develop their strategies. He will also be a senior partner to the sales leads in each market.
"Over the years, Facebook has been evolving toward innovative and effective marketing techniques to reach out and connect people around the globe. I'm delighted to have Mark on board of our regional team, in order to utilize his global experience to develop thought leadership materials designed to enhance the industry's understanding of social and online marketing," commented Jonathan Labin, head of Facebook for Middle East, Africa and Pakistan.
In his new role, Hamilton is entrusted with creating innovative content for generating new business and partnerships via new marketing techniques.
Hamilton brings with him over 17 years of global experience with exceptional creative and strategic leadership skills. He was instrumental in leading global multi-national clients across Central Eastern Europe, EMEA and MENA, in addition to a successful track record in business development. He was formerly a Client Managing Director at the Starcom Mediavest Group, MENA.
