Sharjah: The UAE Schools and Nursery Show was wrapped up Sunday evening on a high note. The exhibition was organised by Expo Centre Sharjah (ECS) for the first time and supported by Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) in cooperation with Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA) during the period 24-26 February. The event was a hit as it attracted thousands of visitors to see the best educational opportunities in the UAE.
The exhibition, which managed to attract major national institutions, schools, nurseries and private education centres into participating actively, served as an important scientific platform for parents to meet with representatives of educational institutions and education services providers, and learn about registration mechanisms and plans.
HE Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of SCCI and Chairman of ECS, said, “We are pleased with the astounding success of the UAE Schools and Nursery Show exhibition – be it the wide participation of educational institutions or the huge turnout. It reflects the insightful vision of the SCCI and its strategic plans aimed at supporting ECS and enabling it to organise specialised educational events and exhibitions that contribute to enhancing the education sector development in the country.”
HE Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO, ECS, said that UAE Schools and Nursery Show was a quality addition to ECS's educational events and activities, the most prominent of which is the International Education Show, which ECS has been organising annually with the aim of supporting this sector. Al-Midfa spotlighted the exhibition's success and how it served as an incentive for ECS to develop its activities in the years to come and to reinforce its position as one of the key exhibitions specialised in education in the country and the region.
The exhibition formed a scientific gathering that joined together the best schools and private education centres in the country, and provided visitors with the chance to learn about typical learning options, school curricula, and the most prominent comprehensive education practices.
