Cairo: The second edition of Techne Summit Cairo, the leading annual investment and entrepreneurship event, is scheduled to take place on March 11th and 12th at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization. The Summit is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce (FEDCOC), the Digital Economy and Technology General Division (DETGD), and the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA). This year’s Techne Summit will host nine different tracks covering CreativeTech, Disrupt Tech, eCommerce, EdTech, FinTech, HealthTech, Investment, Marketing & Advertising, and Startup Business Academy. The Summit will also have two pitching competitions, 10 workshops held by renowned industry experts, and five roundtables. Techne Cairo is expected to host over 20,000 attendees, 200 speakers, 100 exhibitors, and 180 investors from more than 30 countries.

Techne Summit is the largest international event in the Middle East focusing on investment, technology, and entrepreneurship as it aims to create a platform that connects the Middle East to Europe and Africa. The event kickstarted back in 2015 in the city of Alexandria as an international multi-industry-focused Investment & Entrepreneurship event that aims to impact multiple sectors and stakeholders of the Startup Communities in The Mediterranean Region by showcasing different technologies and their applications in each industry. Techne Summit Alexandria 2022 attracted more than 30,000 attendees, 350 speakers, 1,000 startups, and 200 investors, all from more than 70 countries. It hosted 9 pitching competitions for startups across different technology-related fields, and offered monetary awards, as well as mentorship and consultation opportunities, and much more.
