Dubai, UAE: The Dubai Aviation City Corporation’s (DACC) DC-OHSE Department concluded its 2023 Fire Safety Campaign at Dubai South in the presence of HE Khalifa Al Zaffin, Executive Chairman of DACC and Dubai South, and other senior executives. The campaign witnessed the participation of 103 companies that helped promote a culture of fire safety throughout the community, in line with the UAE’s Fire and Life Safety Code and with the cooperation of the Dubai Civil Defense.
During the campaign, the OHSE safety team highlighted fire safety hazards and the importance of maintaining fire and life safety compliances across all operational facilities. The campaign also witnessed the awarding of participating companies and the Dubai Civil Defense Dubai South Fire Station, which received special recognition for its outstanding support during this initiative.
In his comments, Usama Saleh, VP DACC Development Control, said: “As we conclude our annual fire safety campaign for this year, we are grateful for all participating companies who played a role in promoting the safety and well-being of Dubai South companies and employees. We look forward to hosting more events to enhance the safety and health culture at Dubai South.”
