Riyadh: The REDF Saudi Housing Finance Conference will launch in October as Euromoney’s second digital Saudi Series.  All the great interview, panels and exclusive content you have come to expect from our annual spring REDF conference will be streamed online live, interactive and on demand.

The Saudi housing finance market is a key part of the Kingdom and the region’s developing capital markets.  Already this year we’ve seen the first major securitisation via the SRC and more deals are in the pipeline.  Despite the pandemic the Kingdom is moving ahead with its bold plans to drive both homeownership for Saudis and the emergence of a new investible asset class.

The season launches on Thursday 1st October with an exclusive interview with H.E. Mr Majed Al-Hogail, Minister of Housing for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.  Our senior editorial team talks to the Minister about the performance of the Saudi housing and housing finance markets in 2020 and if the pandemic has been a curse or a blessing.  We ask him whether the Vision 2030 plan is on track and about the prospects for further securitisations in Q4 2020 and 2021.  We quiz him on what he and his top team are doing to ensure that affordable housing is available to all Saudis in this challenging time.

Directly following that interview will be a live in-depth Q&A with HRH Prince Saudi bin Talal Al-Saud, Deputy Minister for Residential Support & Beneficiary Services and Mr Marwan Zawawi, Deputy Minister of Residential Products.

“We’re excited to launch this season of exclusive Saudi housing content with H.E. Mr. Majed Al-Hogail, Minister of Housing and delighted to be working with the REDF once again on this important partnership. We look forward to hearing from His Excellency on DATE and from our special guests throughout the series” added Victoria Behn, Director of Middle East, Euromoney.

You can sign up to watch this exclusive interview at 12pm BST on 1st October at https://euromoneyconferences.com/saudihousing

The full series will include interviews with HE the Governor of SAMA, senior figures from REDF, SRC and across the Saudi financial sector.  International analyst, experts and industry players will also join us for live and interactive discussions on the future of this vital new sector in the Kingdom.
