Dubai-UAE – ETS, a leading provider of sophisticated IT, engineering simulation and manpower augmentation solutions, today signed a collaboration agreement with US-based defence contractor Kratos Defense & Security Solutions (Kratos) to offer air target services.
Dr Fahad Al Yafei, President of Platforms & Systems - EDGE, and Jared Ethier, Director of Business Development, Target Systems at Kratos, finalised the agreement during the Dubai Airshow 2019 in the presence of senior representatives from the two entities.
The agreement engages Kratos to provide world class aerial target solutions and the training of pilots, operators and technicians. The agreement establishes ETS as one of the world’s top providers of air target services and enables the company to enhance the performance of the war fighter in a wide range of combat situations.
Speaking on the significance of the partnership, Dr Al Yafei said: “The collaboration with Kratos reinforces our commitment to strengthening the security infrastructure through investing in the training of our defence forces. We see this as the beginning of a new chapter in our service delivery capabilities, supported by our extensive expertise in advanced technologies. We look forward to building preparedness and a highly qualified workforce capable of meeting the rigorous demands of an increasingly unpredictable threat landscape.”
For his part, Ethier said: “As a key stakeholder in the defence industry, ETS is ideally positioned to help us leverage the region’s potential for technological advancement and specialisation in the national security domain.
