Dubai: Etihad Credit Insurance (ECI), UAE’s Federal Export Credit Company, was conferred with the award for the “Most Innovative Finance Solutions in Middle East 2019” by the UK-based CFI.co (Capital Finance International) Awards.

This award highlights ECI’s pioneering SME Protect, a trade credit solution for SMEs to support their growth plans globally and assist them in entering high-growth markets. SME Protect is a simple, fast, easy to use solution that is aimed at encouraging UAE businesses to broaden their understanding of trade credit solutions and to accelerate their export business in a secure manner.

For ECI, this accolade is also a recognition of the company’s swift and rapid growth within a short span of time as an industry-leading trade credit solution provider that has persistently elevated UAE businesses’ competitiveness and helped them in contributing to the country’s non-oil growth.
