Ethiopia has strongly condemned the terrorist attack, which was carried out by the terrorist Houthi militia on 17th January and targeted civil areas and facilities in the UAE.
This came during a phone call between H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and Demeke Mekonnen, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia.
The Ethiopian Minister expressed his strong condemnation and denunciation of this terrorist attack, which led to the death of a number of civilians, affirming his country's solidarity with the UAE in any measures it takes to protect the safety and security of its people and the sovereignty of its land.
He underlined that this terrorist attack is a violation of international law and norms, and threatens the security and stability of the entire region.
He also offered his condolences to the UAE over the victims of this terrorist attack and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
