Dubai, UAE: Epson’s EH-LS500B and EH-LS500W projectors add the ability to watch 4K content and a new stylish design to its portfolio of ultra-short-throw laser projectors. On display at GITEX Technology Week 2019, visitors will be able to observe the discreet modern design, available in black and white.
The EH-LS500B and EH-LS500W are easy to set up, sit neatly next to the display area and are competitively priced for laser. Unlike standard-throw models, they can achieve a large display of up to 130 inches when placed close to the wall. Each model has sleek, clean lines allowing them to blend into living and entertaining spaces.
With these 4K PRO-UHD ultra-short-throw laser projectors, it’s easy to stream shows, movies and more by inserting and storing a device (such as Amazon Fire TV and Roku streaming stick) in the hidden front bay. Alternatively, users can watch content from DVD players, set top boxes, games consoles and more by using one of the projector’s three HDMI ports. It also comes with two built-in 10w speakers and a HDMI ARC connection to integrate with an AV set up.
Epson’s projectors are up to three times brighter than other 1-chip DLP projectors and the EH-LS500 range also includes frame interpolation as well as Detail Enhancement technology. With a high brightness of 4,000 lumens, these long-lasting laser projectors are great for casual viewing, day or night, and for big events such as sports or films. They also deliver defined shadow detail and deep blacks with a 2,500,000:1 contrast ratio. The adjustable HDR settings provide further versatility.
Jeroen van Beem, director of sales, Epson MEA, says: “Design conscious users can enjoy a 4K big screen experience with a simple and elegant projector that is easy to set up, can easily stream content, and will last for years to come. We’ve created an ultra-short-throw projector that’s beautiful, flexible, simple and hassle-free. As it is long-lasting and affordable for a laser projector of this quality and design, we expect many more people to take the jump and replace their TV with it.”
