Dubai, UAE – Entrepreneurs’ Organisation (EO) UAE, the local chapter of the dynamic global network of entrepreneurs, was pleased to invite a group of its members to a learning session with the special guest host Fadi Ghandour, Co-Founder and Vice Chairman of Aramex. The ‘In the Boardroom’ (ITB) event was held at the Four Seasons DIFC in Dubai, where EO members were brought together and invited to receive insights on the social responsibility of corporations. The event was moderated by Riz Khan, well known British television news reporter and interviewer for Al Jazeera, BBC and CNN.

Mr. Ghandour calls on the private sector in the Middle East to play an active role in nurturing healthy entrepreneurial ecosystems, constantly expressing his beliefs that entrepreneurship forms one of the key solutions to the region’s high youth unemployment.  Throughout the boardroom discussion, the organisation’s members had the opportunity to ask questions and engage in open conversation regarding Ghandour’s discussions. Topics covered included retaining good hires, managing a work / life balance, giving insights on entrepreneurship and his personal journey.

The ITB initiative brings public and private sector business people and leaders together to inspire entrepreneurs, also providing a better understanding of the otherwise difficult to penetrate markets.

Bilal Alibhai, President of Entrepreneurs' Organization UAE comments "EO was honoured to be joined by Aramex's co-founder and Vice chairman, Fadi Ghandour. With over 30 years of experience at Aramex alone and his new venture that supports early stage businesses he is a great inspiration for all of us and it was a pleasure to have him contribute once again to our monthly ITB event"

The Entrepreneurs’ Organisation is a global community of energetic entrepreneurs from all walks of life, each of which run their own businesses. With a common bond of the desire to grow their businesses, learn from other and share their experiences, the ITB events expand their networks and help them with this end goal. The local EO UAE chapter is made up of over 80 entrepreneurs over many diversified industries.
