Dubai-UAE – The Women Empowerment Committee at Emirates Institute for Banking and Financial Studies (EIBFS), a regional leader in banking and finance education and training, hosted a workshop titled “Wonders of A Strong Mind”.

Drawing the participation of 56 employees including 20 women working in the banking sector, the insightful workshop covered the importance of mental being and the steps that can be taken to build confidence and courage to overcome challenges. Moderated by Safia Mohammed Saleh, Lead Marketing and Social Media Officer at EIBFS and a certified Life Coach, the workshop highlighted the importance of looking at the positive side of every stressful situation to help strengthen mental wellbeing, controlling one’s own thoughts, focusing on one’s own energy and facing fears to overcome them.

Commenting on the session, Jamal Al Jassmi, said: “We are honored to deliver this meaningful session to the employees in the banking sector. At EIBFS, we believe that mental health is a key part of development and without mental health there is no learning. Through our workshop today, we wanted to share actionable ways in which both men and women can build resilience, discipline and create an environment for them to thrive and grow.

He added: “In the near future, we look forward to bringing new and improved workshops on timely subjects that will support our partners in their journey in the banking and finance sector.”
