DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES: Drydocks World, the service provider to the marine, offshore, oil, gas and renewable energy sectors recently completed its latest conversion project for Boskalis.

The former ship, now a crane vessel named BOKALIFT 2 has been converted in preparation for carrying out a variety of offshore operations. Its maiden project will be the transport and installation of wind turbine foundations off the coast of Taiwan.

The vessel conversion used 9,000T of steel, and features a 4,000T crane that will be installed in China. The project was delivered using detailed engineering, supply of steel, piping and electrical bulk material, construction, and installation of client issued equipment until mechanical completion. 

Drydocks World is committed to support its clients towards energy transition and is committed to support on projects which plays a part in enhancing the production of sustainable energy.
