Aqaba, Jordan – DoubleTree by Hilton Aqaba has recently celebrated a very successful year full of grand achievements. In the presence of the regional team who joined this celebration, the management of DoubleTree by Hilton Aqaba recognized the outstanding effort put by its team members to achieve two of the most honorable awards of the company.

The first award was presented to Siba Ayoub, Executive Secretary and Assistant Learning & Development Manager at DoubleTree by Hilton Aqaba. The CEO Light & Warmth Award is the highest form of recognition Hilton offers. Siba is the first Jordanian to receive this award which was only offered to 12 team members around the world.

The second award is the Travel with Purpose Award for EMEA, one of the Annual Brand Awards through which Hilton recognizes hotel Teams and Leaders who demonstrate the highest levels of quality, service, and engagement. The Travel with Purpose award is presented to hotels who achieve their sustainability goals, through Energy and water savings, and ensure maximum impact in their communities through volunteering events, number of volunteers, hours spent and youth impacted.

Sherif Darwish, hotel manager at DoubleTree by Hilton Aqaba said: “To receive these two outstanding awards is a great honor.
