“DEWA has become one of the most innovative utilities worldwide. Through Digital DEWA, the digital arm of DEWA, we are disrupting the entire business of public utilities by becoming the world’s first digital utility to use autonomous systems for renewable energy and storage, while expanding the use of digital services. This achieves the Dubai 10X 2.0 initiative, launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to make Dubai a city of the future, putting it 10 years ahead of other global cities. DEWA and its subsidiaries are committed to achieve the wise leadership vision and directives to shape the UAE’s future during the next 50 years and make it the best country in the world by its centennial in 2071,” said Al Tayer.
DEWA will launch during the GITEX the Universal Service Centre concept, which is a pioneering step in reshaping the future of services. It will provide a full digital experience that provides comprehensive, reliable and secure services to customers. The centre will use the latest AI technologies and interactive digital solutions that will enable customers to communicate remotely with representatives from departments such as Finance, Human Resources, Contracts, Procurement, and Legal Affairs.
