DUBAI, UAE: The global, multi award-winning Mott 32 is now accepting reservations for its first Middle East destination. A highly anticipated arrival to Dubai’s food scene, the venue is owned and operated by Sunset Hospitality, and celebrates the culture and food of modern Hong Kong, marrying traditional Chinese cookery and modern culinary innovation.

Mott 32 Dubai, located on the 73rd floor of the Address Beach Resort, JBR, features an impressive indoor area, as well as an open-air terrace with stunning views across Bluewater Island, JBR, Palm Jumeirah and the Ain Dubai.

Vibrant and energetic, the venue is named after the address of Manhattan’s first Chinese convenience store, which opened in 1891. Inspiration for the dynamic cosmopolitan vibe hails from the spot that marks the centre of the city’s Chinatown today.

Antonio Gonzalez, CEO of Sunset Hospitality Group states, “This is a great addition to our growing portfolio of brands, and we are looking forward to providing our guests with a unique experience that combines culinary excellence, ambiance, design, service, and astonishing views. Mott 32 is considered as the best international Chinese Brand globally, and we are excited about the collaboration with Maximal Concepts the company behind Mott 32 brand. I can’t wait to showcase this wonderful experience with our guests where we will offer a luxurious, yet welcoming premium experience with a standard of true Chinese cuisine that does not exist in Dubai yet.”

Malcolm Wood, Co-Founder of Maximal Concepts adds, “Mott 32 is the first luxury Chinese restaurant from Asia to expand globally with five-star partners and this location is going to be our highest location to date! With the incredible views, new menu offerings, and a unique interior design, we are excited to share with Dubai our food and drinks as we kick off service at the start off 2023."

The kitchens across all Mott 32 restaurants globally are helmed by Group Chinese Executive Chef Lee Man Sing. The highly respected Cantonese chef (who has earned numerous accolades and Michelin stars throughout his career) sources fresh ingredients from sustainable producers to maintain the quality of the food from both local and overseas suppliers. In turn, the menu at Mott 32 perfectly illustrates Chef Lee Man Sing’s masterful skills in creating ethical menus which boast outstanding traditional Chinese dishes with western cooking techniques and elegant presentation.

Frankie Yang Tao has been appointed as Executive Chef at Mott 32 Dubai and is committed to Chef Lee Man Sing’s forward-looking approach to Chinese cuisine. Food connoisseurs can look forward to a traditional menu which pays homage to the brand’s culinary creativity, and savour familiar, bold flavours of Mott 32’s signature gastronomy through adapted versions of its classic dishes.

Signature dishes include the famed Mott 32 Apple Wood Roasted Peking Duck, taking 48 hours to prepare and expertly carved for patrons tableside, jasmine flower smoked black cod, a selection of dim sum freshly made daily and plant-based signatures for those looking for a more sustainable approach to eating. With an extensive wine list and hand-crafted cocktails, the perfect pairing for each dish awaits diners. Signature cocktails include the Fujian Negroni, Hanami, and Forbidden Rose.

Designed by the highly acclaimed team at Joyce Wang Studio, the opulent East-meets-West design seamlessly fuses a lofty New York industrial style with the grand city scape of Hong Kong. Telling the story of Hong Kong’s past, the space is imbued with a sleekness and elegance, paying homage to the traditional Chinese aesthetic of the original Mott 32, transporting guests into an immersive journey.

Leaning into the elevated, sky-high location and ocean view of Mott 32 Dubai, Joyce Wang Studio has introduced an airy, ethereal aesthetic with roots in nature - uniting the design concept with the natural surroundings visible through the large sliding doors and the urban jungle terrace. The sculptural forms defining the side dining space echo the fluidity of the ocean, and the studio uses delicate current ringlets to house the pendant lights.

For exclusive private dinners and large group events, two semi-private rooms are available including the Lotus Room and the Amber Room, which can both accommodate up to 26 guests. For complete privacy, the Opal Room (which has floor to ceiling windows boasting stunning views of the sea and Dubai skyline) can host up to 10 guests.

After 9pm, the mood shifts whilst the acoustic is turned up, venturing into jazz fusion and neo-funk. The atmosphere transforms to a vibrant and energetic spot to enjoy world class cuisine and eclectic mixology either on the terrace, in the sophisticated main dining area, or within the elegant private dining room.

The restaurant will be open for dinner daily between 6pm – 1am. For more information and reservations please email reservations@mott32dubai.com, call +971 4 278 4832, or visit: www.mott32.com
