United Arab Emirates, Sharjah –  Sharjah Performing Arts Academy (SPAA) is excited to announce its upcoming Open Admissions Day, which will take place on 5 March 2023 from 2-5pm. This event is an opportunity for aspiring performing arts students to learn more about SPAA, its programmes, and its esteemed faculty as well as experience an action-packed day of immersive workshops.

The Open Admissions Day will feature a range of activities, including engaging workshops and immersive masterclasses in various streams of performing arts, as well as opportunities to meet with the faculty and ask questions about the admissions process.

SPAA offers a range of programmes in performing arts, including musical theatre, acting, production arts, and dance. The academy is committed to providing its students with a high-quality education that prepares them for successful careers in the performing arts industry.

"We are thrilled to welcome prospective students to our campus for the Open Admissions Day as we prepare to hone the skills of the next generation of stage and screen actors, performers, dancers as well as directors, creatives and theatrical producers," said Professor Peter Barlow FRSA, the Executive Director of SPAA. "This is a fantastic opportunity for students to experience what life is like at SPAA, to meet our faculty and students, and to learn more about the programmes we offer and the career opportunities both on stage/camera and behind the scenes."

During the Open Admissions Day, attendees will have the chance to attend various workshops and masterclasses led by SPAA's experienced faculty. The workshops and masterclasses will cover a range of topics, including vocal performance, acting, dance, and technical theatre.

"We are dedicated to providing our students with the best possible education, and that starts with a strong foundation in the performing and production arts," said Jacqui George, Deputy Director at SPAA. "We believe that our programmes offer the perfect blend of theory and practice, preparing our students for a successful career in the performing and production arts."

Prospective students who attend the Open Admissions Day will also have the opportunity to tour the campus and learn more about the student experience at SPAA. Additionally, admissions representatives will be available to answer any questions about the application process.
