Mumbai / Saudi Arabia: The International Operations Business Group (IOBG) of Voltas has bagged a prestigious entertainment project worth Rs 942 Cr (SAR 428 million) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for Qiddiya Water Theme Park. Voltas will be responsible for installation and supply of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) works for the park. Qiddiya is a public investment fund project that aims to become the capital of Entertainment, Sports and Arts in Saudi Arabia with a one-of-a-kind disruptive destination offering innovative, immersive, and unparalleled experiences. Voltas IOBG has been awarded the Qiddiya Water Theme Park project as a part of its Parks & Attractions segment.
The project is expected to be completed by 1st October 2024 and is part of Qiddiya’s objectives to establish Saudi Arabia as a global tourism destination and support its Vision 2030 in elevating tourism as a major contributor to economic diversification and creating a world-class destination. Qiddiya will be a place where Saudi Arabia’s youth can achieve their goals. It will be a place where students may enjoy, appreciate, strive for, develop, and cultivate their potential; a place that opens doors and creates new career paths to support the creation of a more affluent and progressive society.
