Al-Kooheji : NBK is an ideal opportunity for the ambitious youth seeking to build a successful and sustainable career

- We boast being the private sector’s employer of choice for the Kuwaiti fresh graduates

- NBK’s participation in career fairs underscores its unwavering commitment to support the youth

Underscoring its commitment to nurturing young national talent and qualifying them to the labor market, National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) has recently sponsored the Gulf University of Science and Technology (GUST) Career Fair held over 3 days during this March.

NBK’s sponsorship of the youth career fairs aims to offer a meeting point between private sector companies and potential candidates looking for a career. It also helps graduates navigate their way into the labor market and connect directly with companies and institutions to secure job opportunities.

NBK’s pavilion attracted a large number of visitors from the participants, as Group Human Resources staff provided answers to all inquiries raised by the students who filled out the job applications for available vacancies. This comes in line with the bank’s endeavors to encourage these graduates to joining the banking sector, which plays an instrumental role in developing the Kuwaiti economy.

Commenting on this, Gadeer Al-Kooheji, Head of Talent Acquisition, Group Human Resources at National Bank of Kuwait said: “We always seek to promote the culture of joining the private sector among the Kuwaiti youth by participating in career fairs which provide a great platform for attracting national talent from the ambitious youth seeking to build a successful and sustainable career.”

“We boast that NBK is the private sector’s employer of choice for the Kuwaiti fresh graduates. This is thanks to its unique work environment culture providing continuous career development opportunities to its employees, which helps the youth make their way to leading positions in the future,” she added.

“NBK’s participation in career fairs underscores its unwavering commitment to support the young national cadres and to help them find job opportunities. It also aims to attract high-caliber national talent to join the banking sector,” she noted.

Al-Kooheji affirmed that NBK continues to solidify its leading role among private sector institutions in attracting, training, upskilling national talent and qualifying them to work in the banking sector, within its endeavors to drive productivity and build a sustainable future for the Kuwaiti economy.

NBK boasts the highest national labor retention rate, with a recruitment strategy is based on attracting, training and developing the young national cadres through the best-in-class training programs.
